GoHighLevel (GHL) Review | Why It’s the Best CRM for Speed to Lead
Download MP3James Dooley: Go High Level review. Today I’m joined by Kazra Dash and we’re going to be talking about why we genuinely believe that GoHighLevel is the best CRM software that there is. It’s very important for myself to make certain that all my clients that are taking high quality leads are converting them. Speed to lead is important. Making certain that they’re nurturing those leads and warming those leads up to get the best conversion rates matters a lot for me because a lot of my lead generation strategies are based on no win no fee and a commission-based lead generation service. So let me kick things off, Kazra. Why do you feel that GoHighLevel is the best CRM software out there?
Kazra Dash: The first thing that comes to mind is price. As a small to medium-sized business, you don’t want to be spending two or three thousand a month on CRM, email lists, text messages and all that stuff. Usually when you try to go too cheap, you end up spending more because you’re paying for ActiveCampaign for emails, another software for WhatsApp, another one for website builders and page builders. The good thing about GoHighLevel is everything I’ve just mentioned is under the bonnet, and a lot more. They’ve got AI agents, website builders and review gathering software as well. If you bought all those separately, the cost would just stack up.
James Dooley: When I look at GoHighLevel, I probably only use about 20% of what it can do, and every week I see new features and improvements. For me, the biggest thing was how many different pieces of software clients were using. People were building landing pages in Unbounce for PPC and Facebook campaigns. I actually love the page builder in GoHighLevel. It’s easy to use and syncs well with the multi-step forms, which I think are brilliant. Instead of asking 20 questions at once, you break it down step by step, which gamifies it slightly and increases completion rates. Then you’ve got WhatsApp integration, SMS integration and email all in one place. You’re not juggling different systems. Having the whole CRM in one place makes it simple to track everything end to end. Do you want to share your screen and show what you’re using?
Kazra Dash: Sure. This is my dashboard. When you have conversations with people, it all shows here. If I message someone on WhatsApp, it shows. If I email them or they message through Facebook or Instagram, it all comes into one place. Whenever someone fills in a form, they get added as a contact automatically. One of the standout features is the AI agents. You can create voice agents. If you’re a restaurant, for example, you can train the voice agent with your opening hours and table availability and it can take bookings. You can also use it as a collector outside office hours. If your office is open 9 till 5, the AI can collect name, email and telephone number after hours so no enquiries are wasted.
James Dooley: We tested that with finance sector clients who were open limited hours. Previously, we were sending calls to overflow call centres in the Philippines and South Africa. When we moved to the GoHighLevel AI voice agent, not only did it cost less, but the conversion rate was strong. We trained the AI just to fact find and capture the basics. Instead of wasted calls out of hours, staff would come back on Monday to qualified leads ready to follow up. It’s been transformational.
Kazra Dash: Even a 30% improvement is better than doing nothing. There’s also conversation AI for websites. It scans your site, understands your services and then chats naturally with visitors. It can collect details like email, phone number and budget in a conversational way. It doesn’t feel robotic.
Kazra Dash: There’s a knowledge base which powers the AI. On the marketing side, you’ve got a social media planner, email campaigns and countdown timers for promotions. I use the automation flows the most. If someone subscribes to my newsletter, they get added into an automated sequence. I’ve got around 3,500 to 4,000 emails collected. You can also build websites quickly, create multi-step forms to filter out tyre kickers, set up memberships and send automated review requests. There are loads of integrations too.
James Dooley: One success story was a sports betting brand I invested in. We wanted to be omnipresent across channels, not just Twitter. We captured emails for daily newsletters, pushed YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp and SMS. Using tags inside the CRM, we could segment users who preferred video from those who didn’t. Some people hated email and preferred WhatsApp. Being able to tailor communication improved growth massively. Other CRM systems couldn’t handle that level of flexibility. Keeping everything under one system also helped with GDPR compliance.
