Kasra Dash:
If you're a gutter cleaning company and you're looking for a consistent flow of enquiries every day, this video is for you. Myself and James have worked with a lot of gutter cleaning companies, and we're going to break down every strategy that actually works for generating enquiries and growing your business.

James Dooley:
Step number one for growth is setting up or improving your Google Business Profile. If you already have one, reach out to your existing clients and collect as many five star reviews as possible. Google Business Profile is one of the strongest ways to generate local leads. You should also build citations, post regularly on the profile and upload photos. That's always my first move for more local leads.

Kasra Dash:
Step number two builds directly on top of that. You should create dedicated service pages for each of your gutter cleaning services as SEO optimised pages on your website. When you do that properly, your website ranks higher and there's a better chance of your Google Business Profile showing up for more keywords. That means more calls and more enquiries.

James Dooley:
If you want even more local leads, another option is PPC lead generation through Google or Bing. You're targeting bottom-of-funnel keywords that convert. The issue is you must use a good PPC agency. Click fraud is real and so is wasting money on the wrong keyword traffic. You also need a solid negative keyword list so you don’t attract job applicants instead of customers. PPC works, but it must be done properly.

Kasra Dash:
Then you’ve also got Meta ads like Facebook and Instagram. When someone is scrolling, they might see your ad. You can run lead forms where they never leave Facebook, although quality can be mixed. You can improve it by adding qualifying questions. Or you can run conversion ads that send people through to your website where they fill out your contact form. Both options can work.

James Dooley:
Another way to grow your lead flow is organic social media. Post consistently on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram. Reddit and Quora are also great platforms if people have questions you can answer. Organic social media is genuinely powerful for local lead generation.

Kasra Dash:
With organic social, it’s a volume game. You need a consistent posting schedule. For example, five videos a week. That rhythm works well with platforms like YouTube and Twitter.

James Dooley:
What are your thoughts on using AI agents? For example, teaming up with someone to set up N8N automations to schedule posts across your social channels. Artificial intelligence is everywhere now and a lot of companies are using it to generate more leads. Would you recommend teaming up with an AI consultant?

Kasra Dash:
Yes, you can definitely set up AI agents to crop videos and autopublish to YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Another area I’d focus on is AI search. More people are starting to search using ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok. If your brand isn’t showing up on those platforms, you’ll miss out on leads. That’s an important part of the future.

James Dooley:
Another strong method for local leads is tradespeople websites. Platforms like Checkatrade, Bark, BuilderBuilder, TrustATrader and Rated People can all generate leads. Just make sure you track your KPIs. You should monitor cost per lead, cost per acquisition and overall ROI. These platforms can work well if you measure everything properly. Check the links in the description because we compare Checkatrade with FatRank, Bark with FatRank, Rated People with FatRank and so on.

Kasra Dash:
When it comes to lead generation companies, you need to do your due diligence. Make sure the company has already generated leads in your niche. Have a strategy call. Ask about budgets, expected lead volume, exclusive leads versus shared leads. Many services like Bark and Checkatrade send shared leads which creates a race to the bottom where you’re competing on price. Those are things you want clarity on before partnering with anyone.

James Dooley:
If you want more local leads, head over to FatRank.com. We run a commission-based lead generation service. You only pay a finder’s fee on converted jobs. You pay nothing per lead. You pay nothing upfront. You only pay after you’ve completed the job and been paid. That's pay-on-conversion. Check FatRank.com to see if you qualify.

Kasra Dash:
Let’s talk inbound versus outbound lead generation. I always prefer inbound. The conversion rate is far higher. The last stat I saw was around 16.1 percent converting into paying customers compared to 1.4 percent from outbound leads.

James Dooley:
That’s 10 to 12 times higher conversion. Outbound needs huge volume, whether it’s cold calling, cold emails or LinkedIn outreach. It also needs a lot of staff and people forget it still costs money. Even “free leads” aren’t free when you factor in labour, tools and time. Inbound is always stronger.

Kasra Dash:
A lot of companies also ask about real time leads. Yes, real time leads matter. Internal data showed that real time leads convert around 63 percent higher. Responding within under a minute makes a huge difference. We used to think five minutes was good. Under one minute is even better.

James Dooley:
Not every company can reply within a minute, but it’s something we look at closely when partnering with businesses. Some companies go on holiday for five days with nobody picking up the leads, even though the leads are still coming in. Those operational gaps matter if you want consistent growth.

Kasra Dash:
The best thing anyone can do if they want to scale and get consistent enquiries is to fill out the form at FatRank. The team will check if you’re a good fit and tell you if you’re not. They’ll also explain why and what your next steps should be. We hope these strategies help you grow your gutter cleaning company. Head to FatRank.com to see whether we can generate you more gutter cleaning leads across the UK.
